A man from Carter County, Tennessee, who was previously accused of escaping from a work detail and subsequently committing murder, has reached a plea agreement leading to a 35-year prison sentence. On Thursday, Billy Fletcher decided to forgo a trial, opting instead for a plea deal that effectively resolved his legal issues.
