MAHOMET, Ill. (WCIA) — Mahomet’s sixth annual Soda Fest is just around the corner, and organizers have announced that attendees will have the chance to sample a wide array of beverages — ranging from beloved classics to extraordinary flavors that are hard to find elsewhere.

The event is scheduled for June 14 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the heart of downtown Mahomet. According to the Mahomet Area Chamber of Commerce, Soda Fest will offer more than 100 different sodas from around the nation, accompanied by lively music, delicious food, and fun activities for families to enjoy together.

Lexi Tieffel is set to open the musical lineup at Soda Fest, performing from 12-1 p.m. Following her performance, Hometown will take the stage from 1-3 p.m. and the Caleb Cook Band will wrap up the entertainment with their set from 3-5 p.m. In addition to music, visitors can look forward to several food trucks making an appearance, including Patty Daddy’s, Watson Chicken, The Main Scoop, Ice Daddy’s, and Brien’s Bistro.

The event is free to attend. Officials said tasting tickets are available for purchase at Soda Fest and online.
