Fast food chain expands Spanish ordering across all platforms

Bojangles, the fast-food company famous for its Southern-style chicken, announced on Monday that it is enhancing its Spanish-language ordering options across all its platforms by leveraging AI technology.

Customers who speak Spanish can now use the Bojangles website and mobile app to place their orders. Additionally, at more than 400 drive-thru locations, Bo-Linda, Bojangles’ AI-powered order-taking system, will offer a completely Spanish-speaking experience, making it one of the first prominent eateries to provide bilingual ordering. Around 35 locations will also introduce kiosks with Spanish-language ordering, all at no extra cost to customers.

Bojangles CEO Jose Armario commented, “This extends beyond technology – it’s about ensuring every guest feels welcome and understood. As a Hispanic leader, I am committed to ensuring our brand is a reflection of the communities we serve. Language should not be a barrier to delivering hospitality.”
