Anonymous donor pays off school district's lunch debt

BRUNSWICK, Ohio (WJW) – Unpaid meal bills are no longer a concern for students at Brunswick City Schools in Ohio, thanks to a generous act from an anonymous community member.

In Brunswick, a benevolent individual has stepped up to ensure that students receive a proper meal. On Monday, the school district revealed on Facebook that a remarkable donation had cleared the lunch debt throughout the district, amounting to over $3,500.

This donation covered the costs at every building, stretching from elementary through high school.

“This thoughtful gesture benefited students at every elementary school, as well as the middle and high schools,” the post mentioned. “For families, lunch fees can quickly accumulate, and this contribution significantly impacted many within our community.”

The district expressed its gratitude to the anonymous community member, thanking them for “this thoughtful support that directly helps our students.”
