In Tampa, Florida, Ronnette Hall voiced her dissatisfaction earlier this week about a medical transportation company, which led to a personal apology from the company’s president.
Hall reached out to Better Call Behnken for assistance, highlighting the unreliability of her father’s transportation to medical appointments, which resulted in missed cancer treatment sessions and the erroneous delivery of an unrelated elderly person to his home.
Ron Hall, a veteran, must be moved from his bed to a stretcher and then from the stretcher to a van.
Following the involvement of Better Call Behnken, Hall received an apology call from the owner of Miami-based Ride2MD, who offered to enhance the service for future transportation needs.
“That’s a great load of my head, my shoulders,” Hall said. “I’m grateful. My dad is a human. He needs the help. He served his country. He has put in his time at work. He worked for the company for 25 years. He put in his time. He’s deserving of good treatment. It’s only fair.”
Ronnette Hall said she was told her father will now have a transport staff member to stay with her at all times so he won’t have to be removed from his stretcher while he visits his doctor.
