() A tense moment unfolded in Seattle on Wednesday when a man pulled an American flag from a dumpster fire during a protest against federal immigration enforcement efforts.

“What are you here for, bro?” a woman can be heard yelling in video footage of the incident, as others tried to snatch the flag back. “F— this country!”

“We’re burning that s—, bro,” she continues. “Whose side are you on?”

The incident was captured by Katie Daviscourt, a journalist with the Post Millennial who was covering the protest.

The rally began Wednesday evening at Cal Anderson Park and moved toward the Henry M. Jackson Federal Building. According to the Seattle Police Department, officers were targeted with fireworks and rocks during the demonstration.

Eight people were arrested for “assault and obstruction,” police said, after a dispersal order was issued during the protest.

Protests over federal immigration raids and President Donald Trump’s decision to deploy the National Guard and Marines in Los Angeles have spread across the country and are expected to continue into the weekend.
