In a victory for President Donald Trump, House Republicans voted to pass his significant budget bill after making last-minute amendments. This legislation reduces Medicaid funding by nearly $700 billion, increases military and immigration enforcement spending, continues the 2017 tax cuts, and eliminates taxes on tips and overtime. The bill will now proceed to the Senate, where it is anticipated to encounter challenges. NBC’s Kelly O’Donnell covers the story for TODAY.
