President Donald Trump has revealed that his team is strategizing to make grocery shopping more affordable, with a keen focus on reducing beef prices.

A recent Axios poll highlighted that nearly half of Americans, about 47%, feel the pinch of rising grocery costs. Trump’s declaration arrives as beef prices soar to unprecedented heights, showing an increase of almost 13% over the past year.

Data from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis shows that ground beef, priced at $7.11 per pound in January, climbed to nearly $8 per pound by August. While Trump has yet to detail his strategy for cutting grocery costs, he has assured the public that he will “work his magic.”
