Jaguars' players react after thrilling win over Chiefs on Monday night

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. () — After a captivating victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, 31-27, the Jacksonville Jaguars are now tied for first place in the AFC South.

Quarterback Trevor Lawrence made the game-winning play with a run in the last minute, bringing the score to 30-27. This marked his second rushing touchdown of the night, the first being a 10-yard run that tied the game at 14.

Lawrence successfully completed 18 out of 25 passes, throwing for 221 yards, one touchdown, and one interception, bringing his total to five on the season.

A pivotal moment for the Jaguars occurred when Devin Lloyd intercepted a pass and ran it back 99 yards, securing a 21-14 lead late in the third quarter.

At 4-1, the Jaguars are tied with the Buffalo Bills and Indianapolis Colts for first place in the AFC.

The Jaguars will have a short week before they take on the Seattle Seahawks Oct. 12 at 1 p.m. at Everbank Stadium.
