JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. (WJHL) – Jonesborough is preparing to pay tribute to its local heroes during the upcoming Veterans Day observance on Tuesday.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the heart of downtown Jonesborough, offering a variety of activities to honor veterans.
As Tennessee’s oldest town, Jonesborough is set to feature live musical performances dedicated to celebrating the service and sacrifice of veterans.
Adding to the day’s festivities, the Jackson Theatre will screen the World War II classic film, “Twelve O’Clock High,” at 3 p.m.
