Today’s discussion highlights a scholarship fund managed by the community, alongside a nonprofit dedicated to assisting local students who aim to study at historically Black colleges and universities.
Belinda Baptiste, who established the Unforgettable Dream Fund, also owns Unforgettable Bakery. Meanwhile, Lillian Grant-Baptiste serves both as a celebrant and storyteller and is one of the founding board members of the organization.
They sat down with ‘s Kim Gusby to talk about this year’s Gala for Good.

The Unforgettable Dream Fund is a community-led scholarship fund and nonprofit
organization supporting students pursuing studies at historically Black colleges and
universities. We are a coalition of local residents, community members, business
owners, and change makers who want to uplift the next generation of Savannah youth.
