OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — A man was arrested late Friday night after deputies say he led them on a slow-speed chase through Osceola County in a white RV.
According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy first spotted the vehicle around 9:15 p.m. on Osceola Parkway. Investigators identified the driver as Louis Robles and said he was weaving in and out of lanes, raising concerns that he may have been injured, experiencing a medical issue or driving while impaired.
To help protect other motorists, a deputy followed behind the RV and worked to keep nearby drivers at a distance, authorities said. Deputies then attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but Robles did not pull over and continued driving.
The pursuit remained low-speed, according to investigators. Deputies said they were able to deflate one of the RV’s front tires, but Robles kept going before ultimately crashing into a tree at a home in Kissimmee.
Robles was taken into custody and is now facing multiple charges, deputies said.
Robles was arrested.
Deputies said they found multiple drugs in the vehicle and that he did not have a valid driver’s license.
Robles faces multiple charges, including fleeing from an officer, reckless driving and DUI.
Robles was booked into the Osceola County Jail.
