Meet Beatzone Boys, Orlando’s Newest Boy Band Making Waves

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando’s pop legacy is hard to miss. The city once stood at the center of the boy-band boom, helping propel acts such as the Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC and O-Town into the national spotlight.

Now, a new group of five young performers is hoping to bring that energy back to Central Florida.

They call themselves the Beatzone Boys.

Ahead of the release of their debut single, “Favorite Mistake,” the group gave its first interview exclusively to News 6 anchor Ginger Gadsden, offering viewers an early introduction to the act they hope will make its mark.

The lineup includes Gage, Will, Brock, Isaac and Evan, who came together from different parts of the country. Several members said the path to the group began through social media, with messages that at first sounded almost unbelievable.

“Of course I’m skeptical getting a DM on TikTok about joining a boy band. It was crazy,” Brock said.

Guiding the project is longtime music producer Tim Coons, whose background includes work with the Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC during the era when music was released through Trans Continental Records. News 6 first reported last October that the once-prominent pop label was being relaunched.

Coons said the search took months as he worked to assemble the right mix of singers and performers capable of helping bring the label into a new chapter.

“We couldn’t be more excited about these five guys.” Coons said.

The members have since moved into a demanding routine in Orlando, with days filled with dance rehearsals, studio sessions, workouts and even a little basketball.

But during their conversation with Gadsden, it became clear they’re building more than a musical group.

“We just we just all like clicked like that. And I think that’s how I knew, like, I have brothers like, this is, this is this is real.”

In the exclusive interview, the Beatzone Boys reveal how they were discovered, why some initially questioned whether the opportunity was real, what they left behind to come to Orlando and the music legends inspiring them as they prepare for their own shot at the spotlight.
