ChatGPT helps Michigan woman claim $100K in Powerball winnings

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A Michigan resident has credited ChatGPT with helping her secure a $100,000 Powerball win, as revealed by the Michigan Lottery on Thursday.

Tammy Carvey, aged 45, clinched a $50,000 prize in the Powerball drawing on September 6. Her winnings were then doubled thanks to the Power Play option.

“I typically only play Powerball when the jackpot is significantly high, and since it had surpassed $1 billion, I decided to purchase a ticket,” Carvey shared with the Lottery. “I sought out ChatGPT for a set of numbers, and those were the ones I chose for my ticket.”
