Moultrie Co. EMA warns of first responder 'active threat' training session

MOULTRIE COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — Residents of Moultrie County are being informed about an upcoming “Active Threat Response” training exercise scheduled for this weekend. The county’s Emergency Management Agency (EMA) assures the public that there is no real threat involved.

On their Facebook page, Moultrie County EMA announced that the training will commence on Saturday, November 8, around 1 p.m., at the Hydro-Gear facility located in Sullivan. This comprehensive exercise is a collaborative effort between local first responders and Hydro-Gear.
