Pana man arrested with more than 100 grams of meth

PANA, Ill. (WCIA) — A 38-year-old Pana man was arrested on Tuesday following a search warrant that recovered more than 100 grams of methamphetamine.

On July 8 at around 4:56 p.m., a search warrant was executed by the Pana Police Department and Central Illinois Enforcement Group (CIEG) at 19A Gibson Lane in Pana. During the search, evidence was obtained and Michael R. McKittrick Jr. was arrested.

McKittrick was ultimately charged with the following offenses:

  • Violation of Meth Control Act; Possession of more than 100 grams but less than 400 grams of a substance containing meth; Class X Felony
  • Violation of Meth Control Act; Delivery of meth less than five grams; Class 2 Felony

Subsequently, he was taken to the Christian County Correctional Center. The investigation is ongoing, involving the Pana Police Department, the Central Illinois Enforcement Group, and the Christian County States Attorney.
