Renowned primatologist Jane Goodall, who passed away earlier this month at the age of 91, succumbed to cardiopulmonary arrest, as revealed by a death certificate obtained by TMZ.
The document also noted that Goodall had epilepsy, though it remains uncertain whether this condition played a role in her passing. The report indicated that no autopsy was conducted.

Cardiopulmonary arrest, commonly referred to as cardiac arrest, involves a sudden cessation of heart function, which interrupts the supply of oxygenated blood to the body’s organs. The condition is often fatal, with survival rates being quite low—approximately 10% for incidents occurring outside a hospital and about 25% for those happening within a hospital, according to data from the Cleveland Clinic.
