(WJHL) — In a significant courtroom decision on Thursday, Skylar Hughes, a 26-year-old resident of Saltville, was found guilty following a fatal incident that occurred on June 5, 2025. Hughes faced charges of second-degree murder along with the use of a firearm during the commission of a felony, stemming from the tragic events on Dry Cove Lane in Saltville. The evidence presented during the trial was pivotal in leading to the conviction of Hughes.
