School District Faces Concerned Inquiries Following Jesse Butler Sentencing

An Oklahoma school district found itself in the spotlight following alarming phone calls after it emerged that a high school student, charged with multiple offenses, would avoid prison.

Superintendent Tyler Bridges mentioned that the identity of the caller remains unknown, but there have been no further calls with a menacing tone.

Jesse Butler, the student in question, entered a no-contest plea to 11 charges, which included first-degree rape and strangulation.
