ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – Authorities have apprehended a 15-year-old girl following the discovery of a video on her mobile device that allegedly shows child sexual abuse.
On Wednesday, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement reported the arrest of Isabelle Valdez from Altamonte Springs. She faces 10 charges related to possessing child sexual abuse content. The investigation was launched in February 2026 when Altamonte Springs Police detectives reportedly uncovered the video on Valdez’s phone.
Following the acquisition of a search warrant, FDLE conducted a detailed forensic examination of the device. During this analysis, officials claim to have found multiple videos depicting the abuse of children, including victims as young as three years old.
Valdez was already detained on separate allegations at the time of her arrest; she was accused of conspiring to stab a fellow student at Lake Brantley High School.

The prosecution of this case is being handled by the State Attorney’s Office for the 18th Judicial Circuit.
