Soldier to plead guilty in case of missing pregnant woman: Officials


HONOLULU (KHON2) — The husband of missing pregnant woman Mischa Johnson is expected to plead guilty in early June.

According to U.S. Army officials, the Army Office of Special Trial Counsel and the defense counsel for PFC Dewayne Johnson negotiated a plea agreement.

Officials added that Johnson has agreed to plead guilty and noted that additional details “are not releasable at this time as the guilty plea is subject to acceptance by the military judge.”

He will appear in a military courtroom betwen June 3 and June 5.

Johnson has been charged with five offenses and 19 specifications related to the disappearance of 19-year-old Misha Johnson, who was six months pregnant when she was last seen in July.

Charges include her murder, intentionally killing her unborn child, obstruction of justice, providing false statements and possession/distribution of child pornography.

Mischa Johnson is presumed dead, though her body has not been found.
