CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – SpaceX on Monday night will attempt to launch a telecommunications satellite from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
A 116-minute launch window will open at 8:02 p.m. A backup opportunity is available Tuesday with another 116-minute window opening at 8:01 p.m.
A Falcon 9 rocket is set to launch an Indonesian telecom satellite into geosynchronous transfer orbit, as reported by Florida Today. The satellite, manufactured by Boeing, will be utilized by Indonesia’s inaugural satellite-based private telecom company.
This mission marks the 23rd flight for the first stage booster being used, having previously assisted missions like Crew-6, SES O3b mPOWER-b, USSF-124, BlueBird 1-5, and 18 Starlink missions. After separating from the second stage, the first stage will touch down on the droneship “A Shortfall of Gravitas,” which will be located in the Atlantic Ocean.
