Brevard County, Florida – A fundraising campaign on GoFundMe has been launched to support the family of a Titusville mother who tragically lost her life on Memorial Day in an accident on Interstate 95. The crash also resulted in her three young children, one of whom is just 8 months old, being hospitalized.
Olivia Maggs, age 32, died in the collision on I-95 near the Pineda Causeway in Brevard County. According to Florida troopers, a Ford F-350 traveling alongside her had a tire blowout, which led the driver to lose control and crash into the side of the 2023 Honda Odyssey she was driving.
The wreck caused both vehicles to go off the road and hit a guardrail, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Maggs’ three children – a 4-year-old boy, a 3-year-old boy, and an 8-month-old girl – were in the car during the incident. The boys were transported to the hospital with minor injuries, while the infant girl suffered a broken femur and a brain bleed, as detailed in the GoFundMe page organized for their family.
“Olivia was a kind, beautiful soul—a loving and gentle mother, devoted wife, and cherished daughter, sister, friend, and compassionate nurse. Her absence leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her,” the GoFundMe reads.
The organizer of the GoFundMe, Gabby Wright, shared the following statement with News 6:
As you would imagine, it’s been a difficult 24 hours for our family. Olivia is a beautiful mother, loving wife, cherished daughter and compassionate nurse with a true servants heart. Her selflessness, kindness and love for Jesus will long outlive her life.
We appreciate and feel the love and support but most importantly we covet your prayers as we navigate this tragedy.
We appreciate your support,
The Maggs & Wright Family
