President Donald Trump has announced a comprehensive array of new tariffs amid the possibility of a government shutdown in the coming days. A 100% tariff will be imposed on specific pharmaceutical products unless the manufacturing company is establishing a production facility within the United States. Additionally, there will be a 25% tariff on heavy trucks, a 50% tariff on kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities, and a 30% tariff on upholstered furniture. NBC’s Garrett Haake reports for TODAY.
