Friday Night Blitz 2025 Week 5 scores, highlights

SAVANNAH, Ga. () — As Friday Night Blitz enters its thirteenth week, here’s a snapshot of the thrilling action that unfolded beneath the stadium lights.

In the Class 4A playoffs’ opening round, Hilton Head Island dominated South Aiken with a convincing 52-24 victory. The Seahawks set the tone early when running back Javin Risher scored the game’s first touchdown.

With this win, the Seahawks advance to the second round, where they’ll clash with Wilson on November 14.

Meanwhile, May River’s journey ended with a 7-4 record following a 36-28 defeat to Wilson. Despite a valiant effort until the final moments, the Sharks couldn’t outmaneuver Wilson’s potent offense.

The game turned in Wilson’s favor at the start of the third quarter when May River threw an interception, altering the game’s momentum.

Bluffton High School, boasting an 8-2 record for their 2025-2026 season, began their playoff campaign at home against Gilbert.

After last year’s heartbreak to May River in the first round of the Class 4A playoffs, the Bobcats looked to bounce back from the one-point playoff loss.

Bluffton opened up the game strong, with an incredible catch from Carnell Warren during their first possession. They ultimately fell to Gilbert with a final score of 38-21.
