BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – On Wednesday, SpaceX is set to embark on a mission to launch a Spanish satellite, marking another significant event at Florida’s Space Coast.

The SpainSat NG II mission is slated for liftoff within a four-hour window starting at 9:30 p.m., as detailed on SpaceX’s official website.

Utilizing a Falcon 9 rocket, the mission aims to transport its payload to a geosynchronous transfer orbit. The launch will be conducted from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

This mission heralds the 22nd and concluding journey for the Falcon 9 first-stage booster involved, owing to the enhanced performance demands required to place the payload in orbit. According to SpaceX, this booster has previously been utilized for missions including CRS-26, OneWeb Launch 16, Intelsat IS-40e, SES O3b mPOWER-C, Ovzon-3, Eutelsat 26D, Turksat 6A, Maxar 2, SXM-9, as well as 12 Starlink missions.
