Country singer Morgan Wallen ditches ACM Awards seemingly to hangout with Tom Brady

Are you thinkin’ ’bout me?

Country music icon Morgan Wallen opted to forego attending the 60th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards on Thursday night, choosing instead to spend time with ex-NFL star Tom Brady.

The “Last Night” artist appeared to pass on the glamorous event held in Frisco, Texas — which is just north of the Dallas-Fort Worth area — in favor of playing catch with the seven-time Super Bowl winner on a lush green golf course, as shown on his Instagram stories.

“Had a little mustard on it @tombrady,” Wallen captioned alongside a photo of him and Brady playing catch.

The image was posted to social media around when the ACM Awards were supposed to start at Ford Center.

The Post contacted Morgan Wallen’s team for comment.

The 31-year-old was among the most-nominated artists on Thursday night alongside Ella Langley, Cody Johnson and Lainey Wilson.

The “You Proof” singer had received nominations for Entertainer of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Single of the Year, Song of the Year, Music Event of the Year, and “Artist-Songwriter of the Year.”

Wallen wound up losing in every category.

Instead, country music newcomer Langley and “Yellowstone’s” Wilson won the most awards.

This isn’t the first time the “Cowgirls” star avoided a glamorous award show.

The Tennessee native did not attend the 2025 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Feb. 2, even though he was a first-time nominee with the song “I Had Some Help,” which was up for Best Country Song and Best Country Duo/Group.

Just like the ACMs, Wallen was denied a Grammy that night.

The singer also skipped the 2024 CMA Awards, but won Entertainer of the Year.

Actor Jeff Bridges accepted the award on Wallen’s behalf at the 2024 CMA Awards, even though he mispronounced his name when he revealed that Wallen had won.

The win came years after the CMAs banned the artist from attending their ceremony following a racial slur scandal.

Much like the awards show circuit, the musician found himself embroiled in controversy in front of a national live audience in late March when he walked off the “Saturday Night Live” set on as cameras were still rolling.

The late-night sketch show usually has cast members, hosts, and musical guests stay on stage to chat as the credits roll, but right after host and Oscar-winning actress Mikey Madison closed the show, he gave her a hug and took off.

The country music performer seemingly didn’t even go to the after-party and posted a photo of his private jet soon after his headline-making exit.

“Get me to God’s country,” Wallen captioned on the story.

“SNL” recalled the unusual moment the following week and roasted Wallen twice.
