SHOCKING photos were revealed after five people were killed in a fiery car crash near San Diego.

The car accident, which involved three vehicles in total, sent one vehicle down a ravine on Friday.

Two of the victims were father Marcial Rivera, 59, and son Emmanuel Rivera, 32.

The pair were on their way to work at a landscaping company when the crash happened.

“Even though I know my dad is in a better place, this is incredibly tough,” shared Ana Rivera, one of the daughters, in a tearful conversation with KSWB-TV.

Tesla video footage showed a truck on the wrong side of the road ramming into two other trucks head on, including the their vehicle, the outlet said.

A police release reported that the car “crossed over into oncoming traffic at a high rate of speed.”

Officials said that the occupants of all three cars had been killed.

The collision caused a fire, which sparked on brush nearby.

The fire burned half an acre before it was put out by emergency crews.

“Both were hardworking men doing what they always did—working to support their families,” the family’s GoFundMe said.

“This unimaginable loss has plunged both families into profound sorrow. We are collecting donations to help with funeral and memorial costs, as well as to provide for the young children who have been left behind.”

Emmanuel’s girlfriend is five months pregnant, the station reported.

He was also the father to a 7-year-old.

“His loss has left a huge hole in our hearts and in the lives of his young family,” the fundraiser read.

On the morning of July 18, 2025, our family faced an unthinkable tragedy. Marcial Rivera and his son, Emmanuel Rivera, were tragically killed in a five-car accident on State Route 67 while heading to a work site. Both men were diligent workers committed to providing for their families.

Marcial was a devoted husband, father of five, and a proud grandfather. He was a true family man who found joy in bringing everyone together. Whether it was for a family dinner or a special occasion, he made sure everyone felt loved and connected. He also had a strong faith and was active in serving his church and community.

Emmanuel was following in his father’s footsteps—hardworking, loving, and responsible. He leaves behind a 7-year-old child and another baby on the way. His loss has left a huge hole in our hearts and in the lives of his young family.

This unimaginable loss has left both families in deep grief. We are raising funds to help cover funeral and memorial expenses, and to support the young children left behind.

Marcial had been married to wife Regina for 35 years, with five children.

Almost $6,500 had been raised for its $20,000 goal, with over 120 donations as of Wednesday afternoon.

The other three victims were not identified by police.
