Two California men are behind bars after police said they allegedly attacked another man while waiting in line to buy Pokemon cards.

In a Facebook press release, the Colma Police Department announced the arrest of 27-year-old Isaiah Calles and 49-year-old Miguel Orellanas Flores, who were both charged with multiple felonies following an incident at a GameStop location. Police explained that around 9:22 a.m., they responded to calls about a “physical altercation” among several individuals at the store. Upon arrival, they discovered a person suffering from severe injuries, including “lacerations to the head and multiple stab wounds.”

According to witnesses, the suspects fled the scene in different vehicles following the alleged altercation, which occurred while those involved were in line to purchase Pokémon cards.

Police investigations revealed that the argument started when Flores allegedly attempted to cut in line, leading to a verbal confrontation with the victim. As the situation intensified, Flores reportedly grabbed a mason jar and smashed it over the victim’s head. Subsequently, Calles is accused of using the broken glass shards to stab the victim “multiple times.”

Police did not provide information about any connection or relationship between Flores and Calles.
