According to the brand’s LinkedIn page, Famous Footwear employs over 200 people.

“It’s with sadness we announce the end of our journey,” the company said in a post on social media.

“Famous Footwear will be closing permanently, with our online store open until 31st December 2025.

“For over 25 years, we’ve cherished assisting you in discovering your signature style. We are genuinely thankful for the dedication and support of our community throughout these years.”

The brand said customers can still place orders until midnight on New Year’s Eve this year.
