“Having Jack home, especially around Christmas, feels like nothing short of a miracle,” shared his family.
“We are incredibly thankful for the immense support, heartfelt messages, and well wishes from the community, Jack’s coworkers, friends, and emergency personnel,” they continued.
“The care and commitment shown by the medical team has been beyond exceptional,” they expressed.
“We respectfully request privacy to focus on Jack’s recovery and cherish this special time together as a family.”
“Thank you again for the compassion, love, and support shown to our family.
“Jacko you’ve shown strength of a different degree, we are so glad you’re home buddy.”
NSW Police Commissioner Mal Lanyon said last week the NSW Police Force would rally around Hibbert and “find appropriate duties for him” after his recovery.
