Ed Martin, who serves as the government’s pardon attorney, took to social media to announce a signed proclamation granting a “full, complete, and unconditional” pardon. This pardon includes the names of conservative lawyers Sidney Powell and John Eastman. Powell is known for spreading unfounded conspiracy theories about the election being stolen, while Eastman devised a controversial plan aimed at maintaining Trump’s hold on power.
Interestingly, the proclamation, which was shared online late Sunday (Monday night AEDT), clearly states that the pardon does not extend to Trump himself.

He penned a memo outlining how Vice President Mike Pence could potentially halt the electoral vote count during the joint session of Congress on January 6 in an effort to keep Trump in office.
