Two siblings were shot during a home invasion in Brisbane’s southeast, in what is believed to be a targeted attack.
According to police, two men attempted to break into the home on Fisher Street in Rochedale around 4.40am today, firing multiple shots at the property.
A brother and sister, both in their 30s, reside in the home and sustained injuries.
The pair are receiving treatment at Princess Alexandra Hospital and are reportedly in a stable condition.
The gunmen were last observed fleeing from the scene.
Police have stated that it was a targeted attack.
A white Mercedes without number plates was seen doing laps on the road shortly before the shooting.
It was found abandoned nearby with a jerry can left on the driver’s seat.
Family and friends appeared visibly distraught at the scene today.
Their sister told 9News the pair are “alive” and doing well.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or those with footage of Fisher Road from 4am today to come forward.
