Four men face charges following the alleged theft of 40 guns from a residence on the NSW South Coast. However, most of these firearms remain unaccounted for, according to officials.
The guns were reportedly stolen during a week in March from a property located on Seascape Close in Narrawallee, which is roughly 224 kilometers south of Sydney.

Authorities have stated that the missing items include both contemporary guns and collectible pieces, all of which were kept in various gun safes.

In early May, a car was stopped in Currans Hill in south-west Sydney, where the 41-year-old male driver was arrested.

He was charged with multiple offences and was refused bail.

Detective Acting Superintendent Richard Puffett, who leads the Drug and Firearms Squad, acknowledged that despite the apprehensions of suspects, a significant number of the allegedly stolen firearms are still missing.

“Just because arrests have been made doesn’t mean the job is done,” he said.

“Recovering the outstanding firearms remains a top priority for investigators as this job continues.

“To date, four of the stolen guns have been found: two were located at a property in Ourimbah on Friday, 11 April, 2025, and another two were found in Cobbitty yesterday.”
