Two young children were inside the home at the time, but were not physically injured.

Yesterday, Detective Inspector Dean Thomas from Victoria Police stated, “Our top priority is their wellbeing, ensuring they’re safe, cared for, and receiving the necessary support.”

”He is known to police and there is a link between that male and our deceased female.”

It is understood an altercation broke out between the victim and the 45-year-old man.
