A South Australian man has been charged with the indecent assault of a teenage girl on a public bus.

The teenager was on her way to school in Adelaide when it’s alleged the 25-year-old man assaulted her on May 5.

The teen boarded the H30 bus at Morialta Road, Rostrevor just before 8am.

Police allege a short while later, she was assaulted by the 25-year-old, who was seated behind her.

The suspect was arrested at a Rostrevor bus stop this morning.

Police said there may be more victims in the area and are encouraging anyone who may have witnessed or been subjected to assault to come forward.

The man remains in custody and is due to face court on Tuesday.
