Police found the injured man, believed to be in his 20s, on a nature strip in Emily Street in St Albans about 11.45pm yesterday.

They worked to help him before paramedics arrived, but the man died at the scene.

Police have said they are investigating reports an argument was heard in the area.

It’s believed three to four men were seen leaving the area towards Margrave Street.

Police have cordoned off the area and established a crime scene.

The dog squad has been seen searching nearby streets with the help of a police helicopter.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
