In the eastern part of Ukraine, the city of Pokrovsk recently fell under Russian control. Zelenskyy described the city as a strategic position, vital for achieving the objectives outlined at the onset of Russia’s so-called “special military operation,” a term used by Moscow to describe the prolonged conflict that has now spanned nearly four years.
Last month, a 28-point peace proposal from the United States drew attention due to its remarkable resemblance to Moscow’s demands. This sparked allegations of Russian involvement in its creation, accusations that the US has firmly denied.
