A woman has been detained after shots were fired at Rihanna’s residence in Beverly Hills.

The Los Angeles Police Department received reports of gunfire around 1:15 p.m. (7 p.m. AEDT) yesterday.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

According to a police source who spoke with CBS News, the targeted property is owned by Rihanna.

The renowned singer and entrepreneur was present during the shooting but remains unharmed, as reported by the Los Angeles Times.

Rihanna shares three young children, Rocki, RZA and Riot, with rapper and long-time partner A$AP Rocky.

The pair own several properties but are believed to primarily reside in a colonial-style Beverly Hills mansion they purchased for $13.8 million ($AUD19.8 million) in 2020.

A$AP, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, owned another home nearby that was raided in an investigation into claims he shot his former friend during an altercation in Hollywood in 2021.

He was facing more than 24 years in prison, but a 12-person jury found him not guilty of the charges in February 2025.

When the verdict was read in court, Mayers ran from the defence table and embraced Rihanna.
