The Geelong Cats and Brisbane Lions will face off on Saturday 27 September in the AFL grand final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
The Cats beat the Lions three weeks ago, but premiership glory is still up for grabs for the two sides, whose clash will be attended by an expected 100,000 fans.
The two teams have had grand final success in previous years, with the Cats taking the premiership in 2022. If the Lions succeed, they will have won back-to-back titles after last year’s victory over the Sydney Swans.

Here’s all the important information you need.

What time is Saturday’s AFL grand final?

The start time will vary depending on your time zone.
For fans in the ACT, NSW, Queensland, Tasmania and Victoria the first bounce is at 2.30pm AEST.

For those in the Northern Territory and South Australia, the event starts at 2pm ACST, whereas Western Australians can tune in at 12.30pm.

Where can you watch?

If you’re not attending the MCG on the day, you can watch the game for free on Channel 7, which will broadcast the entire match on television and its streaming services.
The ABC will also have live commentary on the game across its radio platforms.
There will also be events held in person to watch matches with fellow barrackers on the big screen.
Footy fans in Geelong can attend the Eastern Beach Reserve from 12pm AEST, while Brisbane supporters can head to a watch party at New Farm Park from 8.30am AEST.

In Melbourne’s CBD, the grand final will be broadcast at Fed Square, beginning at 12pm AEST.

What time is the pre-game entertainment?

US rapper Snoop Dogg will be joined by Australian artists including Baker Boy, Tash Sultana, Emma Donovan and Kee’ahn.
The pre-game entertainment is scheduled one hour before the opening bounce.
Australian artist Vera Blue will perform the national anthem and Mike Brady will perform Up There Cazaly, an AFL grand final tradition.
