A police officer has been rescued after being trapped in a patrol car that crashed into a house following a collision involving two vehicles in Sydney’s western suburbs.
Emergency services were dispatched to Bungarribee Road in Blacktown around 3 p.m., responding to reports of a two-car accident.
Upon arrival, authorities discovered that a police vehicle had collided with a Mitsubishi SUV while on its way to an urgent call, using lights and sirens.
The incident occurred when the SUV allegedly turned into the path of the speeding police car.
