Authorities accused the organized crime ring of selling counterfeit luxury apparel, timepieces, footwear, and handbags via social media platforms.
Investigators asserted that the syndicate funneled approximately $9.75 million in earnings through multiple bank accounts.
At around 8:30 am yesterday, officers executed three search warrants in the areas of Fairfield East, Merrylands, and Guildford.
Officers allegedly found and seized nine cars worth about $3 million, more than 500 counterfeit luxury items, $270,000 in cash, and a gel blaster.
Three men, including a 30-year-old in Fairfield East, a 33-year-old in Merrylands, and a 30-year-old in Guildford, were arrested.
They were all charged with multiple offences, including dealing with the proceeds of crime, and participating in a criminal group.
All three were refused bail and will appear in court today.
