A 15-year-old boy has been charged by police following a clash between two groups in Sydney’s inner west last night. The altercation reportedly resulted in one person being stabbed and left five individuals injured.
Emergency services rushed to Federal Park on Chapman Road in Annandale after reports of a brawl at 10pm.
Police found six men with varying injuries who were allegedly attacked by four other men following an argument.
All six victims, believed to be in their early 20s, were treated the scene by paramedics.
A 21-year-old man was found with stab wounds and was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a critical condition.
Four others required hospital treatment.
Police said the sixth man did not need to go to hospital.
Police set up a crime scene and launched an investigation.
The boy has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and affray.
He was refused bail and will appear at a children’s court tomorrow.
