Tyler Robinson was taken into custody on Thursday night, and investigators said they believe he acted alone.
Kirk, known as the CEO and co-founder of the conservative youth organization Turning Point USA, was a prominent podcaster and supporter of former President Donald Trump.
He led an effort to remake the Republican Partyâs get-out-the-vote effort in the 2024 election.
