Tragedy struck in Melbourne’s north overnight as a woman lost her life in a devastating collision involving her car and a truck. The incident occurred near the intersection of Hume Highway and Wallan-Whittlesea Road in Wallan at approximately 3:20 a.m.

Emergency services swiftly responded to reports of the crash, but unfortunately, the female driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity has not yet been released to the public.

Meanwhile, the truck driver, a man, emerged from the accident unharmed. Authorities are currently conducting an investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding the crash.

The male truck driver was not injured.

Police are investigating the details of the crash.
