A tragic incident unfolded on the northern Gold Coast, claiming the life of a young child and leaving another injured. A devastating car crash early in the morning resulted in the death of a three-year-old boy, while a one-year-old was rushed to the hospital with injuries.

The accident was reported to police shortly after 5 a.m. AEST, prompting officers to respond to Burnside Road, where the crash had occurred. Initial investigations suggest that a witness to the crash played a pivotal role by assisting a 22-year-old woman and the three-year-old boy from the vehicle, subsequently taking them to the Beenleigh Police Station.

Tragically, the three-year-old boy became unresponsive and passed away in the foyer of the police station, despite efforts to save him. This heartbreaking turn of events has undoubtedly left the community in shock.
