Australian nutritionist and food influencer Stacey Hatfield has died from an extremely rare complication during childbirth, her heartbroken husband Nathan Warnecke said.

Australia mourns the loss of beloved nutritionist and food influencer Stacey Hatfield, who tragically passed away due to an “extremely rare complication” during childbirth. Her grieving husband, Nathan Warnecke, shared this devastating news, just shy of what would have been their first wedding anniversary.

The 30-year-old from Melbourne, known as @naturalspoonfuls on social media, gained more than 17,100 followers by promoting a toxin-free lifestyle and natural recipes.

On September 29, Stacey went into labor, a moment that Warnecke described as the “happiest I’ve ever seen her.” In a heartfelt tribute, he remembered his “beautiful wife, soul mate, and best friend,” reflecting on the deep bond they shared over the past nine years.

“Stace was the light of my life,” Warnecke expressed, “She was my reason for waking up every morning. This loss is beyond words for me and for everyone who knew and loved her.”

He continued to honor her memory, describing her as “my lighthouse in the storm,” and lamenting that “the world is less bright” without her presence. With profound admiration, he spoke of her as “the most beautiful, loving, caring, hardworking, disciplined, intelligent, and trustworthy human being I’ve ever known.” As her husband, Warnecke could not have wished for a better partner in life.

“She was my lighthouse in the storm, and the world is less bright without her in it. As her husband, I couldn’t ask for a better partner.

“She was the most beautiful, loving, caring, hardworking, disciplined, intelligent and trustworthy human being I’ve ever known.”

Family, friends and the community have rallied behind Warnecke and Axel, raising more than $20,000 to help support the family pay for the funeral, childcare costs, household bills, and to take time off work.
