At least one man has died and four others are in a serious condition following an alleged shooting in Sydney‘s south-west.

All five men made their way to two different hospitals, each suffering from life-threatening injuries.

Police were called to Liverpool Hospital after the first two men, both believed to be aged in their 20s, presented with multiple wounds about 8.30pm.

“One of the men received medical treatment but unfortunately passed away shortly after,” stated the New South Wales Police.

The deceased has not yet been officially identified.

Another individual remains hospitalized, but his condition is stable.

Approximately 10 minutes later, two men arrived at Fairfield Hospital in critical condition and are currently receiving medical care, according to the police.

Over an hour later, at 9:50 p.m., a fifth man, thought to be 19 years old, arrived at Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition and is undergoing treatment for his injuries.

Police set up a crime scene at a home in Canley Heights.

Officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command – with assistance from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad – are investigating.

Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
