In a recent operation, Israel announced a precision attack targeting Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, where they reported the presence of weapon caches.

This assault represents the most significant surge in hostilities within Gaza since a ceasefire was established on October 10th.
Israel has committed to maintaining the ceasefire, stating it will respond decisively to any breaches.
An Israeli official emphasized the necessity of retaliatory measures, noting, “The Israelis should respond when provoked, and they will take action when necessary.”

According to Palestinian health authorities, Israel’s ongoing military actions against Hamas in Gaza have resulted in approximately 68,000 Palestinian casualties.
Under the accord, Hamas released all living hostages in return for nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners and wartime detainees, many of the latter held without charge, while Israel pulled back its troops and halted its offensive.
