In a heartfelt social media message today, Guthrie expressed her family’s willingness to engage in dialogue with the kidnappers.
“We’ve seen reports about a ransom letter circulating in the media,” stated the Today show anchor, flanked by her siblings.
“Yet, we reside in an age where voices and images can be easily altered,” she continued.
“It’s crucial for us to be absolutely certain that she is alive and under your care.”
“We are eager to hear directly from you and are prepared to listen. Please, reach out to us,” she implored.
The siblings have vowed to do all in their power to secure their mother’s return, emphasizing that she is in a delicate state, endures chronic pain, and requires medication for her survival.
“Everyone is looking for you, mummy, everywhere,” she said.
“We will not rest. Your children will not rest until we are together again.
“We love you, mum. Stay strong.”

Samples and evidence have been collected from the home but authorities have not identified any suspect or person of interest.
“Our mum is our heart and our home,” Guthrie said.
